Woodlands Park Community First Responders Scheme is a new group of First Responder Volunteers that has recently been set up by Paul Hallissey (Webmaster) with the kind help of South Central Ambulance Service.
Paul has set this group up after spending a year and a half with Maidenhead Community Responders. Feeling the need for a seperate group in the Woodlands Park, Waltham St Lawrance area the new Scheme is now up and running and went live at the beginning of September 2008.
Although a small group with only two members at present, Woodlands Park Community Responders im sure will attract new membership in the near future. This will be helped by making the group known to the local community and businesses alike.
Paul
Before setting up Woodlands Park Community Responders Paul spent a year and a half as a member of the Maidenhead Scheme. Paul qualified as a first responder in February 2007 after spending several years in St John Ambulance and as a First Aider at Work. Paul is now an active member and Co-ordinator of the new Woodlands Park Scheme.
Sue
Sue has recently joined the Woodlands Park Community Responder Group after qualifying as a Community Responder in August 2008. With a keen interest in First Aid and helping others Sue is looking forward to responding in her local area on a regular basis.
Although Woodlands Park is a seperate group within Berkshire we work very closely with the Maidenhead Team . To view the Maidenhead Community Responders Website and to find out more please visit HERE.
