Woodlands Park Community First Responders

Much needed funds were raised on Saturday 4th July at the local Waltham's Parish Council annual Fete.

A great day was had by all our Community Responders and the public showed great interest in the group as a whole. After putting together our display stand, including gazebo, posters, chairs, and display boards and not forgetting all our equipment including Anny our resus doll we had many visitors to the stand including the Mayor or Maidenhead Councillor Jesse Grey and The Mayoress Mrs Christine Grey.

Our collection pots on the day raised £30.00 with a kind donation from the Community Centre themselves of £27.00 giving us a grand total of £57.00.

All monies donated will be placed into the Woodlands Park Community Responder group fund for the payment of Top up Cards and Uniform.

We are pleased to announce that Woodlands Park Community Responders Group are off to a flying start with three call outs within four days.

Those that know the Woodlands Park First Responders group will know we have only just started the group within the last month( September 08). As we are in quite a rural area on the outskirts of Maidenhead it would quite reasonable to say its not going to be a busy area. Although saying that we have other communites who live within a short distance to Woodlands Park. i.e White Waltham, Waltham St Lawrence and Paley Street so who knows what lies ahead.
